The first half goal scored by Aaron Ramsey during Arsenal v Liverpool Barclays Premier League match on Monday 24th August, 2015 was astonishingly disallowed due to offside positional play by the scorer Aaron Ramsey. But a review of actions revealed no offside positioning by any Arsenal player let alone Aaron Ramsey. This denied the gunners the much desired three points and one goal that could have helped them to improve on their table ranking after three matches in the newly started 2015/2016 league season. I am of the opinion that FIFA should review this their rule that 'referee's decision is final' in football tournaments.
Every FA should setup Post-Match Reviewing body to review and correct most of these wrong decisions being made by match officials on the pitch. This will equally help in checking corrupt practices by match officials in any match.
Where such bodies exist, they have NEVER reversed such decisions in football. Why? But such decisions can be reversed for example in boxing. A previously declared winner can be stripped of the title if found wanting after all. Even in other sporting events like in the Olympics, medal holders have been stripped of the medals they previously won. This might come even after many years of winning them and it was discovered that they cheated during the tournament (doping) and the cheating helped them to record such wins.
